  • Amazon Fire Hd 10 Renews With Attractive Performance

Google said the Echo Show delivered a "broken user experience". There is no technical reason for that decision, which is disappointing and hurts both of our customers. They say that they hope to "reach an agreement and resolve these issues soon".

This also isn't to say Amazon is the archetype of embracing competition; Amazon Prime still doesn't have Google Cast support, nor does Amazon sell Google's streaming dongle. YouTube is the biggest online video site, so its removal from the Echo Show will make it harder for users to watch most kinds of videos on the device.

Google made a change today at around 3 pm.

Hey, Google and Amazon, can we ask you to play nice with each other?

In an unexpected move, Google has removed YouTube access from Amazon Echo Show.

In 2013, Google ordered Microsoft to remove its unofficial home-made YouTube app from the Windows Phone store, despite not providing an official app. In 2015, Amazon announced plans to ban the sales of Google Chromecast, claiming that the devices' lack of Prime Video support is confusing for customers. The three pack also enables the most requested Multi-room audio and this comes when there are leaks about Sonos launching its first speaker with Amazon Alexa. According to a report from The Verge, YouTube is no longer available on Amazon's smart home, touchscreen-toting speaker (or as we like to call such devices, computer).

The new Echo Plus is set apart, though, but its abilities to double as a smart home hub, one that connects to various wireless protocols to set up and control connected home gadgets and appliances. That's not to imply that Google just acted out against Amazon in revenge, but it would be foolish to think this didn't have something to do with Google's decision. Amazon chose to announce six new products today, including sequels to the incredibly popular Echo speaker.

The Echo Plus was built with Amazon's "second-generation far-field microphones", said Dave Limp, Amazon's senior vice president of devices.
