Hurricane Jose: Track takes weakening storm on an Atlantic loop

Based on information from the National Hurricane Center, Hurricane Jose will make a looping path in the western Atlantic Ocean this week, generating high surf and rip currents that will affect parts of the U.S. East Coast and the northeast Caribbean. (A Category 1 hurricane has maximum sustained winds between 74 and 95 miles per hour).
After Irma climbed up Florida, it had slowed to a tropical depression as it dumps rain over Tennessee and the Ohio Valley, NHCreported.
The forecast after that is less certain, with some models suggesting the storm will loop toward the north and northeast and other models having it move west toward the Bahamas.
The National Hurricane Center called Jose an "amorphous blob of deep convection", in its 11 a.m. advisory. Beyond that, however, the storm's future remained unclear.
"Right now we are still a few days out from that". The strength and location of this ridge will determine how far Jose moves westward before eventually turning north and then east again.
Any potential direct hit from Jose wouldn't be until next week, however.
A complicated high-altitude environment over the Atlantic Ocean is what is causing Jose to wobble around the Atlantic.
Jose's impact is sure to be felt along the Southeast coast, bringing rough seas. "We should not take too much comfort, or indulge in too much angst, over a particular set of model runs".
"The models aren't great with resolving cold wakes", said Phil Klotzbach, a hurricane researcher at Colorado State University. "The sunny start to the week will end generally cloudy. However, those attending any outdoor events will want to grab a jacket or umbrella".

Of course, Auburn's attack is predicated on powerful running, but there was little to no success to be had there either. Clemson (2-0) used 11 sacks defensively to stifle the Auburn (1-1) offense on their way to a 14-6 win in Death Valley.
