  • Prince Harry in Toronto to kick off Invictus Games at opening ceremony

The royal has been dating the Suits actress for the previous year, yet they haven't officially appeared together in public.

Clasping Meghan's hand as they walked along, Prince Harry couldn't keep the smile off his face as his stunning girlfriend joined him at the event, cheering on a match of wheelchair tennis.

The prince sported jeans and a black polo shirt while the Canada-based actress wore blue jeans ripped at the knee and a white button-down shirt.

She sat with Markus Anderson, the mutual friend who reportedly introduced the couple, while Harry was seated several rows away with various foreign dignitaries including USA first lady Melania Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

He was seated next to USA first lady Melania Trump, Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau and Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko, whom he had met earlier on Saturday for bilateral talks.

We've been waiting so long to see Meghan Markle and Prince Harry together and the first photos of the pair do not disappoint.

And while they obviously weren't together, that didn't stop Meghan from smiling and beaming proudly while watching her royal boyfriend speak to the crowd. Some observers noted their casual affection, their holding hands in particular.

Prince Harry has made the move to Canada a few days earlier, in the greatest secrecy, in order to be able to see her attractive on the filming of the series Suits in which she plays.

On Friday, Meghan showed her support for Harry at the opening ceremony, their first public appearance together. On Monday, the two were headed towards the Prince's Invictus Games, an Olympic-style competition for and benefitting wounded veterans.

"I can tell you that at the end of the day, I think it's really simple", Markle told the magazine.

Meghan and Harry watched the game court side. They also sat together in the front row, talking, laughing, and applauding the athletes, who are all injured military personnel. News, "It's, of course, very serious and both Harry and Meghan are focused on the future".
