  • Google Search now shows estimated salary ranges for online job listings

With numbers like that, it's important that seekers are able to drill down to find jobs in their field that pay what they need. One such filter lets you choose a location and limit job search to a specific city. Google for Jobs is created to make job search process more efficient.

This is not the just which Google has upgraded with its Google job search platform, it also added some filters over there which will help you in selecting your desired location in which you are seeking for a job. It also attempts to fill in the blanks on a glaring omission in almost 85% of all job postings, according to Google: an actual salary. "We are committed to providing useful and relevant information based on people's search queries, and we believe PayScale's salary data will improve the job search experience and connect people with their next job more easily".

On Wednesday, Google announced that it added new features to its job listings search tool known as Google for Jobs.

"Finally, finding the right job for you can take time". A new location filter option is now available that gives you the option to set a distance range or spread out to "anywhere".

Speaking about applying, this new version now also lets you choose which service you want to use to apply.

Based on the feedback from job seekers, it has made some improvements to the feature.

Planned in May, the job search program has successfully tied up with market leaderds such as Monster, Glassdoor, and Facebook with the latest features such as dynamic email alerts, salary info and other details. Posting information about the salary an applicant can expect for a particular job makes it easier for them to evaluate whether the job is a fit, Zakrasek said. "Then that job will appear in your "Saved jobs" tabs on Google, which is accessible across any of your devices". Fast forward five months, the company is now doubling down on its efforts to make Google Search a destination in its own right for those seeking work. And in the coming weeks Google will also allow users to save jobs directly within Google Search by hitting a bookmark button.
