Taylor Swift's new album literally crashed iTunes

The track also makes a possible nod to Kim's decision to record Taylor's phone calls with Kanye West during the line, "They're burning all the witches, even if you aren't one / They got their pitchforks and proof / Their receipts and reasons / They're burning all the witches, even if you aren't one / So light me up".

Eventually, they officially reconciled at the 2015 VMAs, when Taylor presented 'Ye with his Video Vanguard Award and Kanye sent her flowers after the fact, which Swift shared on Instagram. But in the summer of 2016, Kanye released his hit track "Famous", in which he referred to Swift as "that bitch", said he still might have sex with her, and took credit for her rise to fame. That was when Taylor's star-studded squad reached new levels of public prominence and her annual Fourth of July bash became a much larger part of the pop culture canon.

The internet is also abuzz with theories that Taylor speaks up regarding her previous feud with Katy Perry, especially on "This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things".

This dreamy ballad is mostly about Swift's boyfriend Joe Alwyn staying by her side and ignoring all the drama, but there may still be a few sly references to the Kanye feud.

Her album before this, 1989, was released in 2014 and had its own share of problems with iTunes.

Let us know in the Facebook comments! "And here's to you, 'cause forgiveness is a nice thing to do", she says, before breaking down in giggles, saying, "I can't even say it with a straight face!" The songs about nastiness and recrimination are in minority, such as "Endgame", which features guest raps from Atlanta emcee Future and (most regrettably) Swift's ginger Brit pal Ed Sheeran. It begins on "End Game", with Taylor proclaiming, "And I bury hatchets, but I keep maps of where I put 'em".

Before playing "Call It What You Want", she explained, "We're gonna play it a little bit differently than you heard it on the album".

"When this album comes out, gossip blogs will scour the lyrics for the men they can attribute to each song, as if the inspiration for music is as simple and basic as a paternity test", she wrote.

Reputation in many ways does leave many formerly familiar Swiftian traits behind. And while electronic musical settings still aren't a natural fit for Swift, she sounds increasingly comfortable on the more mechanistic tracks over the course of the 15 song set. Well, first of all, yes, we can assume there will definitely be a tour thanks to her collaboration with Ticketmaster #VerifiedFan, which aims to give fans better access to tickets. For Swifties who have been in it for the long haul, it's a reassuring reminders that old Taylor isn't gone just yet.
