DONALD Trump has slammed political adversary Hillary Clinton in a tweet, urging her to take a repeat run for the White House in 2020.

"The dishonest Hillary Clinton is the worst (and biggest) loser of all time".

She adds: "I think that we should just leave that behind us and whoever they want to blame for anything, they're going to have to find somebody else".

In last year's presidential election, Clinton won the popular vote but Trump prevailed in the Electoral College as a result of narrow wins in USA states of Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin. Hillary, get on with your life and give it another try in three years!

In an interview with Mother Jones, Clinton said she can't explain why Trump's candidacy was not affected by the allegations or his bullying of his rival candidates on the campaign trail.

In the interview, Hillary had pointed towards the Russian meddling and the outcome it had in the USA elections.

Clinton referred to the case of Democratic senator Al Franken, whom a TV presenter accused this week of "forcibly kissing" her without having her consent, and grabbing her breasts while she slept, an act for which the legislator apologized, yet the women asked to have him investigated by the Senate Ethics Committee.

It also cites a University of Wisconsin study that said the state's new voter law that required voters to show a Wisconsin driver's license or other ID blocked or deterred up to 45,000 people statewide - and Clinton lost Wisconsin by 23,000 votes.

Trump made the remarks a day after Clinton told media that the "Russian meddling" in the 2016 presidential campaign creates questions over the "legitimacy" of his victory.
