The 26-year-old singer, who announced over the weekend that he had become engaged to his long-term girlfriend Cherry Seaborn, admitted that he'll be stopping once they start having kids in order to be a "good father", reports The Sun.

The singer made the announcement via his official Instagram account, writing: "Got myself a fiance just before new year".

Sheeran and Seaborn have apparently known each other for a long time.

The Shape Of You artist says his ambition will "go to zero" as soon as he has children with his new fiancée Cherry Seaborn.

The man cave will connect to his main Sussex home via an underground concealed tunnel and will feature a movie theatre and music room.

Ed Sheeran may quit music once he has kids.

The notoriously private couple first met as pupils at Thomas Mills High School in Framlingham, Suffolk, and have been dating since mid 2015. "She worked on Wall Street in NY, and I had like six shows [around NY in 2015]".

Seaborn, a keen field-hockey player, studied at Duke University in North Carolina and later worked in the Wall Street financial district of NY before transferring back to England. Sheeran was touring at the time, and Seaborn was reportedly working as a risk strategist at an NYC-based consulting and advisory company.

"I'm really secure now, we live together and we have cats, and I think when you have cats that's kind of it". Nevertheless, 2018 could be a busy year regarding national sweethearts getting hitched.
