The fitness model said her flight to NY had been delayed for two hours when she got into an argument with a flight attendant who told her to sit down after she stood up to stretch her legs.

Selter left Miami on another American Airlines flight, arriving in New York's LaGuardia Airport on Sunday morning, the airline said.

Jen Selter, 24, was kicked off an American Airlines flight on Saturday.

Selter filmed the ensuing row on social media which heightened when the plane's captain and then police were called.

An argument broke out with cabin staff when the social media influencer was asked to sit down after leaving her seat, reports CBS New York.

The flight attendant asked Selter if she wanted to get off the plane, and she said "yes".

A spokesperson for the airline said: "Ms. Selter was asked to leave the aircraft after a disagreement occurred Saturday night at Miami International Airport (MIA)".

Selter's agent, Todd Frank, told ABC News of the incident on the delayed flight, "It's something a lot people can relate to".

Multiple videos posted to her Twitter account showed the altercation.

Selter told the New York Post that the flight was delayed more than two hours and that the plane hadn't moved yet when she and her sister got out of their seats so they could stretch.

While another passenger went to the restroom, the Instagram model stood up, later claiming she had been trying to put her jacket up. You harassing her. You came from all the way over there.

Social media Influencer Jen Selter has almost 12 million Instagram followers. She later shared video once she had gotten off the flight captioning a short clip with "I did nothing wrong but got kicked off the plane".

Selter and her sister were forcibly removed from the plane, with Selter capturing her experience on video.

Jen has not addressed the incident on her Twitter since posting the videos, but did say in a statement to Page Six that the experience was "humiliating".

Selter told the New York Post, "They made me feel like a bad person, and I did nothing wrong".

The model also shared a video of another passenger, who she said made a decision to get off the plane after seeing how Selter was treated.
