LG has officially announced some new colour options for its two smartphones - the LG G6 (Review) and the Q6.
To some consumers disappointment, the new colours are not met with the release of a major new software update. These colors will be based on some of the ones that are already available for the V30, LG's latest flagship device.
LG just announced that the phones will be coming in new colors like "Moroccan Blue", "Lavender Violet" and "Raspberry Rose".
With the advent of these new colour versions, the LG G6 would be available in a palette of eight in total while the LG Q6 could be had in seven colour.
It's been a little while since we last heard from the LG G6, but the fact that it's nearly a year old isn't stopping its maker from rolling out new models. The Life's Good crew says that the new hues will launch first in South Korea in February of this year, but that they will be expanding to "key markets" at some point in the future.
While these colors are new for the phones, they aren't for LG. The standard colored G6 and Q6 unlocked devices are now $700 and $300, respectively. The secondary camera has a 125-degree wide angle lens too.
LG Q6, on the other hand, comes with a 5.5-inch FHD+ FullVision with the 18:9 aspect ratio. There is a 3300mAh battery under the hood. The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 435 processor teamed u with 3GB RAM and 32GB of expandable internal storage space.
Phone makers often release their flagship devices in special edition colors to stir up excitement, but will pretty colors be enough to save LG's phones? It is further backed by a 3,300mAh battery with fast charging support.
