  • Monster Hunter World gets one last beta before some great news

The news comes from Twitter user '黒凧 BlackKite‏' who revealed that Monster Hunter World beta will start on 19 January 2018 and will continue until 22 January 2018 and will be exclusive to PlayStation 4.

You can check out the flame king dragon Teostra with unsafe fires, steel dragon Kushala Daora with an entire body covered in metal plates, the rock-eating Dodogama, and several other dragons that can mess with your hunter if you're not careful. A new monster quest will also be added to this beta, featuring the "terrifying and challenging" monster Nergigante.

And finally, Capcom has offered a tease at what players can expect post-launch content to look like.

The press release also details the Dodogama, which is a wyvern that eats rocks and has saliva that can cause the rocks to become explosive.

Monster Hunter World is coming for PS4 and Xbox One this month, January 26, and Capcom is being pretty transparent.

Today Capcom shared some new promo video for their upcoming action game Monster Hunter: World. One mysterious monster was also seen exiting the carcasses of others, but not much is known about this one just yet. Returning players can now try to hunt down the risky Nergigante dragon, a monster we saw in a previous trailer. The first major update will bring the fan-favorite monster "Deviljho" to the game. The Monster Hunter World Starter Packs include either a black or white 500 GB PS4, as well as a copy of the game. The developer promises regular content updates, and every major title update will be made available for free.
