It will certainly be interesting to see how the Jets and the National Football League handle this situation.

Anderson - who also was arrested in March 2017 for an altercation at a concert - began to threaten the officer and his family, saying he would find and sexually assault the officer's wife. The officer determined Anderson was driving 105 miles per hour in a 45 miles per hour zone while giving chase. According to multiple reports, Anderson was booked on multiple charges including resisting an officer, harming public servant or family and fleeing police.

This time they added: 'This is a pending legal matter and we will have no further comment'.

NJ Advance Media obtained the full arrest report from police in Sunrise, Fla., where Anderson was arrested.

After he was stopped, police say he made the threats and then boasted about how much money he has. "Based on his statements, it was clear he wanted to sexually assault my wife".

According to the report, Anderson threatened the officer's wife and his family once he was in the patrol vehicle. Anderson ran two red lights and "was all over the roadway" while eluding Hennessy, according to the report. He proceeded to make the Jets' 53-man roster and went on to enjoy a solid rookie campaign, hauling in 42 receptions for 587 yards and a pair of scores last season. He was charged with resisting an officer with violence after an alleged confrontation with a Miami police officer outside the Rolling Loud Music Festival in May. He led the Jets in all receiving categories but catches and finished the year with 10.5 FanDuel points per game.
