  • New Overwatch Skins will be released soon

Check out our guide to Overwatch League. That's all changing next week though, as the game's official Twitter account revealed that Blizzard World is going live next Tuesday, 23 January.

As we previously reported, Blizzard World is a hybrid map - so just like King's Row and Numbani, it starts with a control point before becoming a payload escort mission - created to look like an amusement theme park which pulls from Blizzard classics like Warcraft, Starcraft, Lost Vikings, Diablo, Heroes of the Storm, Hearthstone and more. The map in question is an interesting one that's called "Blizzard World" and has been created to resemble a theme park of sorts.

Blizzard has announced a release date for its next Overwatch map, Blizzard World. These new items will be available in the regular Loot Boxes and will be available as unlocks in the Hero Gallery as well. All your favorite heroes in the game will get to dress up in their favorite Chinese costumes, dragons and there will be special lootboxes, loot crates among other stuff to be opened up within a month's time.

Blizzard will be revealing the Overwatch cosmetics over the next week until release, starting with chibi-styled hero sprays. These include: Young Reinhardt, Ecopoint Mei, and StarCraft Nova for Widowmaker.

The new cosmetic update, however, will allow Blizzard to include some of the more miscellaneous designs that may not fit with the theme of any such events.
