"Fire and Fury", which author Michael Wolff bills as an exclusive glimpse inside President Trump's White House, is being adapted into a TV series, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Endeavor Content, according to the Hollywood Reporter, plans to adapt the book into a television series.

The massive deal is said to be in the seven-figure range. And in part due to that title, Wolff was able to exploit an inexperienced White House staff who mistakenly believed they could shape the book to the president's liking. Wolff himself will serve as executive producer, and veteran Channel 4 and BBC executive Michael Jackson is on board as producer.

The Trump administration allowed Wolff unprecedented access to the White House, and he backed his observations up with a series of interviews.

The book led to a public spat between Mr Trump and Steve Bannon, the former chief strategist who helped secure the presidency for the property mogul.

Excerpts of Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House were first published online by NY magazine and other media outlets before it was published on January 9.

Bloomberg says that Wolff did speak to Trump about the book he planned to write in a February call.

Fire and Fury made claims about the inner workings of the White House. He responded and thanked Trump for helping sell his book and proving his point.

Wolff will executive produce the series, which will be based on Trump's first year as USA president, as reported in the book.

"What was I doing there if he didn't want me to be there?" The book also delivered some pettier blows, including Ivanka Trump's alleged mockery of her father's infamous hairstyle. The book sold out in bookstores within minutes, debuted at number one on the New York Times bestseller list, and is Holt's best selling publication of all time.
