  • Suspect Identified For Sexually Assaulting Four-Year-Old Girl In Facebook Video

A Millbrook, Alabama man wanted in connection with a viral video depicting the sexual assault of a young girl was taken into custody Tuesday.

News outlets report that the victim has been located and is safe.

In the video posted to Facebook, Moore allegedly forces a young girl, whose age has not been specified, to perform oral sex. However, authorities warn that sharing such explicit content involving a child is a crime.

Investigators were able to identify Moore from the video after first identifying the little girl and questioning her.

The video itself is part of an ongoing investigation in Alabama, not Alaska, APD said.

Memphis police say if a pornographic image shows up on your page, you need to contact Facebook immediately and delete it from your account.

Authorities said that Moore was also wanted on numerous child sex assault charges out of Detroit, MI.

The video has been going around social media in the Youngstown area, and in other parts of the country, the television station reported.

The child porn video that enraged the country last week is not local and the man seen recording a child performing oral sex on himself surrendered to United States police this morning.

Moore, who lives in the Millbrook area, turned himself into Millbrook police about 2:30 a.m. ICAC Lt. Brooke Walker said the media blitz Monday night led to his surrender.

On Monday evening, 42-year-old Jerrell Washington was charged in connection to the distribution of the video, according to a Montgomery Police Department release.

"We do not allow the sharing of child exploitative images on Facebook or Messenger - even to express outrage".

The video spread as many across the region attempted to get the word out and find the person responsible.

The video which was circulated on social media was shared worldwide. Later today, Moore will be transported to the Elmore County Detention Facility. "Regardless of intention, sharing such imagery is harmful and illegal", the spokesperson said.
