Longtime NBA agent Dan Fegan passed away in a auto accident in Colorado.

The Colorado State Patrol said the SUV was trying to cross or merge onto Highway 82 when it was broadsided by the RFTA bus.

Fegan was known for being one of the most-ferocious agents in the game.

Colorado authorities say one person has died in a crash involving a commuter bus and a rented SUV. The Aspen Times reports that the person who died was traveling in the SUV with two other people. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this hard time'. Fegan's reputation and steal his clients'. Both were airlifted to a nearby hospital.

Several NBA figures paid their respects on Twitter shortly after news of Fegan's death broke. Fegan had represented many National Basketball Association players, including John Wall, Demarcus Cousins and Dwight Howard.

Fegan had represented standouts such as DeMarcus Cousins, John Wall, Dwight Howard and Ricky Rubio before controversially and publicly splitting with his agency, Independent Sports & Entertainment, last year, which resulted in a lawsuit. The newspaper reported that a year ago he was sacked from his agency, Independent Sports & Entertainment, and the sides subsequently were involved in a lawsuit. "As I saw you in your bathrobe and slippers I thought, I like this guy".

Mavericks' Mark Cuban said: "Dan was the first agent who realized I was serious about basketball, winning and learning as much as I could about the game".
