  • Mueller breaks up with collusion probe in 'SNL' parody of 'The Bachelor' finale

It was basically a word-for-word reenactment of Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s shocking breakup with Becca Kufrin, but in this scenario, Arie was replaced by Kate McKinnon's Mueller, who was breaking the bad news to Becca (Cecily Strong) that he might not have Trump on collusion.

The special counsel warned that if the voter got what she wanted out of their relationship - also known as the Russian probe - her life could spin out of control with Vice President Pence assuming the role as commander-in-chief.

"You don't have Trump on collusion?"

"So, I have to wait two more years for him to be out of office", a despondent Becca asks. So, you know that I've been struggling a little bit over the few months just, like, trying to figure this whole thing out and, like, grasp everything.

"This is so fucking embarrassing", Strong says.

As in, The Bachelor-and went so far as to reenact the utterly cringeworthy finale breakup that made #BachelorNation silently scream from their sofas last week.

"Collusion is the only thing I've been looking for the past year", Becca said through a split screen that hilariously capturing them both in the true reality TV fashion.

"So that's it? He's just gonna be president?"

"I don't know how to answer that", McKinnon says. "That's definitely fun, that's just, like, not what I'm doing", McKinnon says. As for the collusion question, well, Democrats banking on Trump collusion findings might want to heed SNL's quiet warning. The This Is Us star hosted the Saturday, March 10, episode - with musical guest James Bay - and honestly, it was hard to narrow down the list of highlights. The show aired a parody commercial, This is U.S., featuring the "real-life drama happening in our government every day".

Anyway, Brown played Ben Carson, McKinnon reprised her Kellyanne Conway, Pete Davison came on as Jared Kushner, and Aidy Bryant brought back her fantastic Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
