Stormy Daniels Sues Trump, Claims He Never Actually Signed Their "Hush Agreement"

According to the suit that Daniels filed this week in Los Angeles Superior Court, Cohen tried to "intimidate" Daniels and "shut her up" by discussing what the lawsuit called a "bogus arbitration proceeding" against her in Los Angeles on February 27, NBC News first reported. In return, Clifford was not to disclose any confidential information about Trump or his sexual partners to anyone beyond a short list of individuals she'd already told about the relationship, or share any texts or photos from Trump. The suit alleges that since Mr. Trump himself never signed the agreement, Daniels should be free to discuss her "intimate relationship" with him in 2006 and 2007.
A defense lawyer representing Cohen did not respond to requests for comment Tuesday.
Now things are about to get even nastier after Daniels has revealed to the Daily Mail that Trump failed to properly initial and sign the non-disclosure agreement and his lawyer attempted a bogus arbitration agreement with Daniels in 2018 to stop her from talking.
Clifford signed the agreement on the allotted line for "PP" on October 28, 2016.
"Put simply, considerable steps have been taken by Mr. Cohen in the last week to silence Ms. Clifford through the use of an improper and procedurally defective arbitration proceeding hidden from public view", according to the complaint. Mr. Trump, however, did not sign the agreement, thus rendering it legally null and void and of no effect. But the lawsuit raises new accusations against Cohen, saying that "through intimidation and coercive tactics", he caused Daniels this year to sign a statement denying the affair.
"Neither the Trump Organization nor the Trump campaign was a party to the transaction with Ms. Clifford, and neither reimbursed me for the payment, either directly or indirectly", Cohen said in a statement at the time. In a letter attached to the document, "Peterson" is identified as a pseudonym for Clifford, while the true identity of "Dennison" is redacted.
News first reported the lawsuit. Trump married his current wife, Melania Trump, in 2005.
Whether Trump needed to sign this agreement is the major legal question here.

Avenatti was referring to Michael Cohen, Trump's personal lawyer, who claimed he paid Daniels $130,000 of his own money without then-candidate Trump's knowledge as part of a non-disclosure agreement made just weeks before the election.
"That's a question that Miss Daniels will have to ultimately answer", Avenatti said. Clifford alleges that as recently as last week, Trump's attorney tried to initiate an arbitration proceeding against her.
