  • London City is working to minimise disruption

Reuters UK Tweeted minutes ago revealing that all flights from the four UK airports are cancelled.

Flybe has also cancelled all flight at Dublin and Knock.

The budget airline Tweeted earlier this morning saying: "Due to continuing adverse weather conditions, Ryanair expects further flight delays and cancellations at airports today and tomorrow (Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd March 2018) and we recommend customers check the status of their flight below before making their way to the airport". We have flown 31% of our schedule today.

"All affected customers have already been notified of their options by email and SMS text message and should avoid traveling to the airport".

"Due to a National Weather Alert for heavy snow, airlines have suspended all flights to and from Dublin Airport until Saturday, March 3".

Yesterday (1 March) the airline was forced to cancel 40 flights due to Storm Emma's risky conditions.

We understand that the fluidity of the situation can be frustrating and we thank passengers for their ongoing patience and support.

Ryanair has announced that it is now planning for a return to full operations, in all Irish airports, this Saturday, 3 March.

The unsafe flying conditions have also caused the popular budget airline easyJet to cancel further flights.

Passengers have been reminded that those passengers that have had flights cancelled or heavily delayed are not entitled to cash compensation from their airline, but says that the airline has a duty to provide accommodation and food to travellers.
