The blue ribbon campaign runs all through the month of April.

Women's Aid in Crisis sexual assault advocate Bobbi Cox and domestic violence advocate Addie Helmick asked the commission to declare April to be Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Increasing education, awareness and community involvement around these sensitive issues is the only way forward, Cox said.
