All seven people being treated at AUMC are adults. Lanes on I-20 eastbound and westbound are blocked.

Physicians Hospital in Augusta claimed in a statement Thursday that six of the eight passengers obtained there have been in very good shape or had been dealt with and released.

The crash caused I-20 to shut down in both directions, but the interstate later reopened.
