The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) says Fifa's decision to advance US$2 million in prize money will help the country's players "focus exclusively on football on the pitch" in Russia.

National League was implemented by Infantino when he was secretary general at UEFA, and it would involve having promotion and relegation among global sides, a concept only seen in club football.

This being FIFA, there's also plenty of new themed content coming to the long-term sell that is FIFA Ultimate Team.

There'll also be an expansion to the ever-popular Ultimate Team mode, where would-be managers can create teams using players from the 32 teams that have qualified, plus World Cup legends like Ronaldinho.

The plans were sent by Infantino to the members of Fifa's decision-making Council which still has to approve them. The stadiums feature different national banners for the countries competing in the World Cup, along with "immersive atmospheres" and high-resolution crowds. UEFA's inaugural competition will begin in September this year.

"It will also help to settle beforehand the question of bonuses due the players, which in the previous editions of the competitions has led to situations which affected badly the image of African football, with a considerable impact on team performances", local media reports quoted Ahmad as saying. "This would probably entail a change in the financial terms related to the Nations League, but it could certainly be explored further".

Federation Internationale de Football Association are reportedly giving serious thought to staging a "mini World Cup" every two years, in addition to the "big World Cup" they already have.

Infantino added that Fifa's share of the profit for any revenue from the new competitions over the projected US$25 billion would be redistributed among the 211-member federation and the six continental bodies.

- 33 countries: $5.62M-7.5M.

Each of the teams will receive $1.5 million participation bonus.

- Division 3: $3M per team plus $3M for victor and $1.5M for runner-up.

- Division 5: $1.5M per team plus $1.5M for victor and $0.75M for runner-up.

- Division 7: $0.5M per team plus $0.5M for victor and $0.25M for runner-up.
