Tom Holland recently posted a video on Instagram revealing a sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming called Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Tom Holland's friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is preparing to leave the neighborhood.

What do you think of the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel title?

The sequel's existence casts doubt over the events shown in Infinity War, which showed Peter Parker perish- along with half the universe and half the Avengers-at the hands of the villainous Thanos. After being a little too talkative about his first few MCU appearances, the newest Spider-Man actor has now evolved into an actual marketing tool thanks to Marvel embracing him as a spoiler.

Holland flashed the new title in a video, shot while attending ACE Comic Con in Seattle.

'I wanted to apologize because there's no real revelations coming out this weekend about Spider-Man 2. "No, I knew I was gonna die, but only until pretty much the day I actually filmed it and that came as quite a shock when Kevin Feige takes you aside and says, "Now you're dying" and you're 'No, I don't wanna go, I don't wanna go!'" That spider bit Peter and granted him the incredible abilities that made him Spider-Man, but before it died, it also bit Cindy. As recently as May, we heard reports that Jake Gyllenhaal was all but confirmed to play longtime Spider-Man villain, Mysterio.

Jon Watts will direct from a script by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.

Tom Holland's gimmick these days is as the Marvel Studios employee who can't keep his mouth shut. It will be released on July 5, 2019.
